A digital platform is aimed at making specific innovations and technological solutions, produced by the academic and research community, more accessible to private companies. It is a service for automatically downloading, synchronizing, sorting and displaying information from large scientific platforms such as Academia.edu, Google Scholar, or Researchers Gate to the platform EmpowerHR4Inno. Platform initially focus on priority sectors, food, health tourism, horizontal IT priority and nationally produced solutions with a tendency for further development. The following information can be found:
  • Course library with sub-content WoS published, results, other solutions, and digital tools and HR models;
  • Set of features that allow sending newsletters to users who sign up as interested in a particular group of news feeds.

Comparison of Dako HercepTest and Ventana PATHWAY anti-HER2 (4B5) tests and their correlation with silver in situ hybridization in lung adenocarcinoma
Abstract Background Discordant results exist about the role of human epidermal growth factor receptor 2 (HER2) overexpression and/or HER2 amplification in lung adenocarcinoma. We aimed to compare the performance of HercepTest and PATHWAY anti-HER2 (4B5) by correlating immunohistochemistry (IHC) results with silver in situ hybridization (SISH) in adenocarcinoma lung specimens. Methods...

Class balancing in customer segments classification using support vector machine rule extraction and ensemble learning
An objective and data-based market segmentation is a precondition for efficient targeting in direct marketing campaigns. The role of customer segments classification in direct marketing is to predict the segment of most valuable customers who is likely to respond to a campaign based on previous purchasing behavior. A good-performing predictive model can significantly increase revenue, but also, reduce unnecessary marketing campaign costs. As this segment of customers is generally the smallest, most...

Effect of chemical composition and T6 heat treatment on the mechanical properties and fracture behaviour of Al-Si alloys for IC engine components
The microstructural examinations of Al-Si alloys intended to manufacture IC engine components revealed a complex phase composition in all the samples. The polyhedral crystals of primary silicon were detected in the Al-12.5Si alloy, besides the ?-Al phase, eutectic silicon, and several intermetallic phases, identified in the cast samples of both alloys. Better tensile properties were found for the samples of Al-11Si. A predominantly intercrystalline fracture with features of ductile failure was observed...

Biometry of the sagittal otoliths for three demersal fish species from the Eastern Adriatic Sea (Montenegro)
The otolith morphology, biometry and otolith size and fish length relationship of three demersal fish species: red mullet Mullus barbatus, common pandora Pagellus erythrinus and hake Merluccius merluccius were examined. Based on otoliths relative sizes P. erythrinus and M. merluccius have Large otoliths, while M. barbatus has Small sagittal otoliths. The relationships between otolith variables and fish somatic growth were described by a linear function. All relationships were statistically highly...

Segmentation Approach for Athleisure and Performance Sport Retailers Based on Data Mining Techniques
This paper seeks to compare certain customer segments from two sport footwear, apparel, and equipment retailers and to examine an objective market segmentation method, based on the recency, frequency, monetary (RFM) and the decision tree (DT) models. The case study is based on two data sets, aiming to compare the different customer segments, both from sport retail industry, and represents an application of data mining techniques in a business environment. The customer segmentation enables the customer...
