A digital platform is aimed at making specific innovations and technological solutions, produced by the academic and research community, more accessible to private companies. It is a service for automatically downloading, synchronizing, sorting and displaying information from large scientific platforms such as Academia.edu, Google Scholar, or Researchers Gate to the platform EmpowerHR4Inno. Platform initially focus on priority sectors, food, health tourism, horizontal IT priority and nationally produced solutions with a tendency for further development. The following information can be found:
  • Course library with sub-content WoS published, results, other solutions, and digital tools and HR models;
  • Set of features that allow sending newsletters to users who sign up as interested in a particular group of news feeds.

On the tail asymptotics of supremum of stationary χ-processes with random trend
Let ?n(t), t ? 0, be a chi-process with n degrees of freedom. We derive the asymptotic exact result for P(sup t? [0,T] (?n(t) + ?(t)) > u), as u ? ?, where ?(t) is a certain random process independent of ?n(t) and T > 0 is a constant.

Maternal education, health profession and cigarette smoking are decisive factors for self-medication in children by parents
Abstract Self-medication of children by their parents (SMCP) is an important public health issue as the effects and potential risks may be unpredictable. The objective of this first national Montenegrin study was to assess the prevalence of and factors influencing SMCP among schoolchildren. Data were obtained from a national representative sample of 4496 schoolchildren aged 7–13 years (50.4 % boys). Parents/caregivers completed a questionnaire concerning their demographic characteristics,...

Physcomitrium eurystomum Sendtn., a new moss species in the bryophyte flora of Montenegro
In a vegetation survey conducted in the northeast part of Montenegro, Physcomitrium eurystomum Sendtn. was collected. This is a new moss species for the bryophyte flora of Montenegro. The species has a wide temperate-tropical distribution, but its populations are rather scattered. In most European countries, the species is included on the relevant national Red Lists and most recently, it was added to the European Red List of Mosses, Liverworts and Hornworts. In order to expand our knowledge of its...

Assessment of the water quality in the Moraca River basin (Montenegro) using water quality index
In this paper, the water quality of the Moraca River and its main tributaries (the Zeta and the Cijevna) were analyzed, using the Water Quality Index (WQI) methods. Data from 12 hydrological stations (HS) from 2010 to 2018 were used. The analysis included ten parameters of physic, chemical and microbiological water quality: oxygen saturation, BOD5, ammonium ion, pH value, total nitrogen oxides, orthophosphates, suspended solids, temperature, electrical conductivity and coliform...

Changes in temperature and precipitation in the instrumental period (1951–2018) and projections up to 2100 in Podgorica (Montenegro)
AbstractThe article presents the results of the analysis of several temperature and precipitation parameters in the instrumental period in the capital of Montenegro—Podgorica, for the period 1951–2018. In order to use the latest results of several Regional Climate Models (RCMs) developed for the Western Balkans, the results of temperature and precipitation modelling for the period 2011–2100, ALADIN, HIRHAM i RACMO models for RCP4.5 and RCP8.5 scenarios, are also presented. For the observed 68‐year...

Green’s function for the semi-infinite strip in terms of an improper integral
In this paper Green?s function for the semi-infinite strip (which is the two-dimensional Green?s function for a groove of infinite depth and length) is determined in the form of an improper integral, as opposed to the standard summation form. The integral itself, although rather complex, is found in a closed form. By using the derived Green?s function simple formulas are obtained for a single and two-wire line configurations inside the groove.

The Macroeconomic Effects of COVID-19 in Montenegro: A Bayesian VAR Approach
Abstract The outbreak of COVID-19 has faced the globe with economic upheaval. The research problem of this paper focuses on examining, diagnosing, and assessing appropriate macroprudential policy response of the Montenegrin government to the evolution of the pandemic disease. We explore three economic scenarios – shocks – of how the pandemic disease might impact the economy of Montenegro in the dawn of entering the European Union. We forecast a sustainable GDP growth model from January 2006...

The energy – pressure nexus in the water supply system
Abstract Due to the importance of overall sustainable development, efficient energy management should be as significant as water resource management within every water supply system. The pressure reduction, as a measure for loss reduction, not only guarantees less leakage but also minimizes energy consumption. The relationship between energy consumption and pressure in water supply systems has been the subject of many previous studies, mainly based on measurements in real systems....

Is the Recovery of Transition Countries Possible on the New Global Stage and How?
When it comes to finding a new development formula in transition countries, it is worrisome that a well-trodden development paradigm lacks in today’s multipolar world. Therefore, overcoming the apparent deadlock in the development of transition countries is possible only through the “new” order, or, in other words, through acceptance of the “new” economic paradigm of development. This paper aims to answer the key question regarding the development perspectives of the transition countries, “Can the...
