Analysis of Technical - Exploatation Characteristics for Electric Vehicles for Public Traffic

Električna vozila za javni gradski prijevoz služe za brz i siguran prijevoz putnika u gradovima, gdje je problem zagušenosti prometne mreže izuzetno velik, zbog velikog broja korisnika kojima je potreban prijevoz. Javni gradski prijevoz treba biti u potpunosti odvojen od ostalog prometa u gradovima, također treba imati pravo prvenstva prijevoza na dijelovima prometne mreže gdje ga nije moguće u potpunosti izdvojiti. Električna vozila za javni gradski prijevoz dijele se na: metro sustav, tramvaj, trolejbus, monorail (sustav s jednom tračnicom) te laka gradska željeznica. Tehničko – eksploatacijske značajke pojedinog sustava izrazito su bitne kod odabira sustava prijevoza koje će se u pojedinom gradu koristiti, nema nikakvog pravila, te je za svaki grad potrebno raditi posebne studije vezano za najoptimalniji način prijevoza. Budućnost električnih vozila javnog gradskog prijevoza svakako je u nadzemnim i podzemnim sustavima.Electric vehicles for public transport are used for fast and safe transport of passengers in cities, where the problem of congestion of transport network is very big due to the large number of users in need of transport. Public city transport should be completely separated from the rest of the traffic in cities, and it should also be given way on the parts of traffic network where it cannot be separated completely. Electric vehicles for public city transport are divided into: metro system, tram, trolleybus, monorail (system with one rail) and light city railway. Techno-exploitative features of a certain system are extremely important when choosing the type of transport system in a particular city: there are no rules, and it is necessary to do special studies regarding the best means of transport. The future of electric vehicles of public city transport certainly lies in underground and overground systems
