The Open Science model assists businesses to meet innovative minds, absorb new technologies, and explore future possibilities in an ever-changing world.
Specific innovations and technological solutions - strengthen the absorption capacity through better connection of the academic and research sector and companies in order to improve the absorption capacity.
A search for the rare decay D0→μ+μ− is reported using proton-proton collision events at s=13.6 TeV collected by the CMS detector in 2022–2023, corresponding to an integrated luminosity of 64.5 fb−1. This is the first analysis to use a newly developed inclusive dimuon trigger, expanding the scope of the CMS flavor physics program. The search uses D0 mesons obtained from D*+→D0π+ decays. No significant excess is observed. A limit on the branching fraction of B(D0→μ+μ−)<2.4×10−9 at 95% confidence...
Pre-fermentative treatments are essential in winemaking, as they significantly influence the quality and stability of white wines in particular. The synthesis of many compounds obtained from yeast, such as higher alcohols and esters, is influenced by the type and concentration of aromatic precursors present in the must, especially amino acids. Clarification has a positive effect on wine quality, mainly by improving organoleptic properties, with flavour being the most affected. In this study, the...
The smallscale codlet, Bregmaceros nectabanus Whitley, 1941, is a small gadiform fish native to the Indo-West Pacific and the Red Sea. It is considered non-indigenous in the Mediterranean Sea, with its first records appearing in the early 2000s. This paper reports the first confirmed occurrence of B. nectabanus in Montenegrin waters. The specimen was caught by beach seine in the interior of Boka Kotorska Bay at a depth of less than 20 m. Morphometric measurements were compared with existing Adriatic...
Third-year VATEL students at the University of Donja Gorica, as part of their Human Resource Management (HRM) course, had the opportunity to explore contemporary challenges and practices in the hospitality sector through a dedicated research assignment.
Research team Assoc. Sandra Tinaj, Ph.D., Bojana Mališić, Ph.D., Lidija Lukovac, M.Sc., Jovana Popović, M.Sc., and Assoc. Dr. Božidar Vlačić from Catolica University from Portugal, published a scientific paper as one of the results of this project.
