A digital platform is aimed at making specific innovations and technological solutions, produced by the academic and research community, more accessible to private companies. It is a service for automatically downloading, synchronizing, sorting and displaying information from large scientific platforms such as Academia.edu, Google Scholar, or Researchers Gate to the platform EmpowerHR4Inno. Platform initially focus on priority sectors, food, health tourism, horizontal IT priority and nationally produced solutions with a tendency for further development. The following information can be found:
  • Course library with sub-content WoS published, results, other solutions, and digital tools and HR models;
  • Set of features that allow sending newsletters to users who sign up as interested in a particular group of news feeds.

Nonlinear Tank-Level Control Using Dahlin Algorithm Design and PID Control
Liquid-level control in tanks is widely used in various industrial sectors. Due to problems arising from the case that the liquid level is above or below the recommended, the process of its control is of great significance. The proportional integral differential (PID) controller is one of the most widely used controllers in applications that require accuracy and optimal automatic control. In this paper, single and coupled ship fuel tank systems are discussed. In addition, mathematical models and...

Large deformation theory in geomechanics - influence of kinematic nonlinearity on the results of some characteristic geotechnical calculations
The geotechnical engineering calculations are usually carried out according to the small deformation and displacement theory (infinitesimal strain theory) i.e. first-order theory. A linear relationship between componental displacements and deformations is adopted. The well-known conditions for equilibrium are defined for an undeformed system i.e. undeformed structure. Therefore, the geometric and static linearity assumptions are usually valid in geotechnical engineering calculations....

Moral Dilemmas of Surrogate Motherhood
Abstract In the sphere of new modalities of creating offspring, one of the most controversial issues is related to surrogacy because it opens the space to unforeseeable ethical, legal, sociological and psychological world of dilemmas. Surrogacy is the process whereby a woman carries and gives birth to a baby for a couple who cannot conceive naturally and it has become increasingly popular worldwide. This reproductive method relativized the biological fact of birth and denied the central moment in...

Experimental and Theoretical Research on Welded Aluminium X‐Joints
AbstractAluminium provides many advantages as a construction material in civil engineering, such as for example light weight, functionality by extruded profiles and corrosion resistance. It is obvious to use these advantages also for trusses. However, most aluminium alloys develop zones of weakening due to welding. The so called heat affected zones (HAZ) reduce the load‐bearing capacity of welded aluminium joints by up to 50%. Consequently, the design and execution of welded X‐joints within lattice...

A large non-parasitic population of Savalia savaglia (Bertoloni, 1819) in the Boka Kotorska Bay (Montenegro)
Abstract The golden coral Savalia savaglia is a long living ecosystem engineer of the Mediterranean circalittoral assemblages, able to induce necrosis of gorgonians and black corals coenenchyme and grow on their cleaned organic skeleton. Despite its rarity, in Boka Kotorska Bay (Montenegro) a shallow population of more than 1000 colonies was recorded close to underwater freshwater springs, which create very peculiar environmental conditions. In this context, the species was extremely abundant...

Human-centred model of single window using the example of Port of Bar, Montenegro
For the past 60 years, human-centred design (HCD) has been considered a preferred design approach for maritime single windows and ways to understand user needs. The idea proposed in this paper is a very effective way to integrate HCD into the maritime single window floor by engaging stakeholders in maritime, which is suitable for human development and participation. This was done through a panel discussion with an end-user model, with a particular focus on the navigation of commercial vessels....
