A digital platform is aimed at making specific innovations and technological solutions, produced by the academic and research community, more accessible to private companies. It is a service for automatically downloading, synchronizing, sorting and displaying information from large scientific platforms such as Academia.edu, Google Scholar, or Researchers Gate to the platform EmpowerHR4Inno. Platform initially focus on priority sectors, food, health tourism, horizontal IT priority and nationally produced solutions with a tendency for further development. The following information can be found:
  • Course library with sub-content WoS published, results, other solutions, and digital tools and HR models;
  • Set of features that allow sending newsletters to users who sign up as interested in a particular group of news feeds.

Anatomical traits of Artemisia umbelliformis subsp. eriantha (asteraceae) alpine glacial relict from Mt. Durmitor (Montenegro)
In this study, the vegetative anatomy of Artemisia umbelliformis subsp. eriantha, a Central European alpine glacial relict, wild-growing on Mt. Durmitor (Montenegro) was examined for the first time. The aim was to investigate the general anatomy and particular anatomical traits which might have possible taxonomic value. Microscopic slides were prepared according to the standard histological procedures. The adventitious young root showed a primary structure, while the older root...

Ekonomske krize kao poticaj promjena u zdravstvenom sustavu – povijesna perspektiva s osvrtom na pandemiju COVID-19
Economic crises throughout history have often given an impetus for health and social reforms leading to the introduction of general healthcare systems and social equality in a large number of countries. The aim of this paper is to present the major economic crises and their effect on healthcare and social system chronologically. Bismarck’s and Beveridge’s model, the two most prominent healthcare models, which emerged primarily as a response to major economic crises, constitute the basis for the...

Genetic parameters of the type traits of Holstein-Friesian primiparous dairy cows
The aim of this study was to determine the level and variability of type traits in primiparous Holstein-Friesian cows, as well as to assess the additive genetic variance of type traits and heritability coefficients. The research was conducted on a data set of linearly evaluated primiparous Holstein-Friesian cows, which is ceded by the Main dairy cattle breed organization in the Province of Vojvodina, which is a unit of the Department of Animal Science, at the Faculty of Agriculture...

Postharvest quality monitoring and cold chain management of fresh garlic scapes based on a wireless multi‐sensors system
AbstractFresh garlic scape is popular for its unique tastes and special antibacterial effect. As a kind of seasonal vegetable, it has huge quality decay after harvesting, and usually by low temperature storage to approach the round‐year supply. However, it lacks cold chain management directions and transparency, which depends heavily on the real‐time information of the process environments and the quality of fresh garlic scapes. With the analyzed quality‐related indicators, including temperature,...

A Practical Approach to Assess the Wildfire Ignition and Spreading Capacities of Vegetated Areas at Landscape-scale
Abstract We bring a practical and comprehensive GIS-based framework to utilize freely available remote sensed datasets to assess wildfire ignition probability and spreading capacities of vegetated landscapes. The study area consists of the country-level scale of the Romanian territory, characterized by a diversity of vegetated landscapes threatened by the consequences of climate change. We utilize the Wildfire Ignition Probability/ Wildfire Spreading Capacity Index (WIPI/ WSCI). WIPI/ WSCI...

Synoptic characteristics of an extreme weather event: The tornadic waterspout in Tivat (Montenegro), on June 9, 2018
Recently Montenegro has often been faced with extreme weather events. The aim of this paper is to provide a detailed synoptic analysis of a severe weather event, a waterspout, and to confirm an indication that in most cases such events could potentially be forecasted, which is of great practical significance, since human lives and property can be saved. The paper presents the research results of synoptic and mesoscale weather conditions which created a favourable meteorological environment for a...

Prediction of oil film thickness in trochoidal pump
A model for predicting the oil film thickness between the contact surfaces of the gerotor pump teeth is given in this paper. Gerotor pumps are rotary pumps with inner trochoidal gearing. The working process of the pump is followed by mechanical losses due to friction that occurs between the coupled surfaces. To reduce these losses and avoid wearing of the teeth’s active surfaces, it is necessary to provide a minimum thickness of the oil film between the contact surfaces. The minimum thickness of...

Natural and natural-like polyphenol compounds: in vitro antioxidant activity and potential for therapeutic application
IntroductionPhenols are a large family of natural and synthetic compounds with known antioxidant activity. The aim of this study was to preform an in vitro screening of natural and natural-like phenol monomers and their C2-symetric dimers (hydroxylated biphenyls) in order to identify those representatives which pharmacophores have the strongest antioxidant and the lowest prooxidant activity.Material and methodsAntioxidative properties of 36 compounds (monomers and their C2-symmetric dimers) were...

Model of Dependence Between the Parameters of Surface Roughness and the Parameters of Form and Location During the Machining by Drills with the use of Artificial Neural Networks
Abstract This paper presents a model of dependence between the parameters of surface roughness and the parameters of cylindricity and eccentricity in drilling operation for the enhancing steel EN 42CrMo4, hardness 28 HRC, with twist drills DIN 338 made of high-speed steel EN HS6-5-2, with normal blade. The quality of machining, besides the accuracy of measures, completely determined with the values of the parameters of the surface roughness and the parameters of form and location, hence...
