Empower HR 4Inno

A member of the EmpowerHR4Inno project team, Assist. Prof. Dr. Božidar Vlačić, participated in the SMS Conference in Belgrade, Serbia.

The scientific coordinator of CEGE (Research Centre in Management and Economics) at Católica Porto Business School and a professor at the institution, Bozidar Vlacic, recently took part as a speaker at one of the world's leading conferences – the SMS Extension Conference.

This year, the theme of the conference, held in Belgrade, Serbia, was "Disruptive Digital Technologies, Data, and AI: Implications for Innovation, Entrepreneurship, and Strategic Decision-Making."
Bozidar Vlacic shared key findings from the EmpowerHR4Inno project, where he participated as the Principal Researcher on behalf of Católica Porto Business School, together with Prof. Eva Oliveira from the same institution. Given the conference’s focus on disruptive technologies and the future of work, it provided an ideal platform to present and discuss the EmpowerHR4Inno project.

This project aims to explore how innovative solutions are adopted within organizations and examines their impact on the evolving nature of work.

The SMS Extension Conference brought together a global community of academics interested in studying digitalization, innovation, entrepreneurship, AI, and technology to discuss cutting-edge research. The event aimed to connect professionals who have developed unique approaches to creating local solutions for technological challenges.
