On Thursday, December 19, 2024, at 10:00 AM, the final conference of the EmpowerHR4Inno project was held at UDG.
The results of this project, implemented with financial support from the European Union under the IPA grant scheme "Scientific Potential in the Service of Innovation," in collaboration with the Ministry of Finance and the Ministry of Education, Science, and Innovation, were presented at the final conference "EmpowerHR4Inno," organized by the University of Donja Gorica.
"The goal of the project is to strengthen the capacities of companies for innovation by improving models and tools for human resource management, focusing on identifying and overcoming existing shortcomings. The project has achieved numerous results, including the publication of scientific papers, the preparation of an analysis of Montenegro's innovation capacity through a study covering changes from 2012 to 2023, and the creation of a digital platform to connect the economy, academia, and the business sector," said Dr. Sandra Tinaj, project manager, adding that special emphasis was placed on empowering women in science.
The results of this project, Tinaj emphasized, highlight the importance of integrating science and innovation into developmental processes, as well as the potential for Montenegro's further progress towards a knowledge- and innovation-based society.
Attendance at the conference provided participants with the opportunity to interact with panelists – Danilo Đukanović from the company Recrewty, Ivana Malović from IDFaktor, and Danilo Popović from Hirin’ Hero – to deepen insights and exchange opinions on key topics such as the digitalization of HR processes, the psychological aspects of leadership, career development, and improving organizational culture through onboarding, recruitment metrics, and employee evaluation.
Special emphasis was placed on challenges and opportunities in the modern business environment, aiming to inspire and empower young people to enter the professional world.
In addition to the highly engaging panel, participants had the opportunity to learn more about the digital platform and the scientific work published by members of the project team – Bojana Mališić and Jovana Popović.
In conclusion, conference attendees highlighted that this final conference marked the successful completion of the project and its achievements but also the beginning of new collaborations. An invitation was extended to participants for further cooperation and continued research.
