On Monday, March 27, 2023, a lecture was held at the University of Donja Gorica titled: "How to encourage creativity and create innovations?" by eminent prof. dr Velimir Srica. Professor Srica is a university professor emeritus at the Faculty of Economics of the University of Zagreb, but also a lecturer at many other universities around the world.
Professor Srica's lecture is one of many from the series of motivational lectures Afterwork with Srića - powered by Swiss School of Business and Management. Afterwork lectures are intended for anyone who wants to be better and more successful in what they do, from entrepreneurs, employees, to managers and CEOs. The lecture covered topics such as business and social trends, leadership, motivation, teamwork and creativity. During the lecture prof. Srica emphasized the importance of innovation and the way in which we can encourage innovation and creativity among the company's employees, how to manage resources, processes, but also the changes that need to be initiated in order for companies to progress. At the very end, during the discussion, the participants had the opportunity to, together with prof. Srica, discuss potential issues and share their experiences on this topic.
The motivational lecture and training are part of the Info day of the project Reinforce and connect absorption capacity in companies for new research and innovation solution, through the process of empowerment of the human resource management models and tools based on identified gap - EmpowerHR4Inno through the IPA II grant, financed by Ministry of Finance and the European Commission.
The lecture was attended by 60 participants, including representatives of the academic and business sector.
