The University of Donja Gorica hosted companies from the Montenegrin economy with an evening program and an interactive workshop where the EmpowerHR4Inno - Digital Platform was presented.
On Thursday (May 9th), a multi-hour program was organized for representatives of around 50 companies. The program began with an interactive panel – Let's have an easy talk. The panel participants were eminent experts in the fields of entrepreneurship, education, and the economy, including PhD Milica Vukotic, Vice-Rector of the University of Donja Gorica, PhD Nina Drakic, President of the Chamber of Commerce of Montenegro, and PhD Svetlana Kisic, President of the Board of Directors of Junior Achievement Serbia. This panel provided participants with the opportunity to gain a deeper understanding of the challenges and opportunities presented by entrepreneurship, innovation creation, and the importance of developing human resources and connecting the academic, research, and business communities.
The panelists discussed extremely important contemporary issues concerning modern education, entrepreneurship, challenges faced by young people, global leadership, and the significance of the academic community in society.
After an interesting discussion, the project manager, Associate Professor PhD Sandra Tinaj, presented the Digital Platform to the companies – an electronic platform with numerous innovative and technological solutions. Using the platform, company representatives can follow the latest advancements in science and research necessary for their further work, growth, and development. The companies had the opportunity to learn more and ask questions about using the Digital Platform. Additionally, the project manager invited all companies to collaborate with HR sectors and jointly explore possibilities for further cooperation and new funds, such as EU fund projects and joint application writing.
The program continued with the traditional Entrepreneurial Ideas Exchange, where guest companies had the opportunity to support student and pupil ideas, with the EmpowerHR4Inno project providing support and opportunities for students to participate in their realization. Finally, a cocktail was organized where companies had the chance to further discuss the possibilities and challenges faced by the academic and economic communities, the scientific potential, and the benefits offered by the Digital Platform.
