A digital platform is aimed at making specific innovations and technological solutions, produced by the academic and research community, more accessible to private companies. It is a service for automatically downloading, synchronizing, sorting and displaying information from large scientific platforms such as Academia.edu, Google Scholar, or Researchers Gate to the platform EmpowerHR4Inno. Platform initially focus on priority sectors, food, health tourism, horizontal IT priority and nationally produced solutions with a tendency for further development. The following information can be found:
  • Course library with sub-content WoS published, results, other solutions, and digital tools and HR models;
  • Set of features that allow sending newsletters to users who sign up as interested in a particular group of news feeds.

REHABILITATION AFTER AN ATHLETE'S ANKLE INJURY
Introduction: A bone fracture is a break in the continuity of bone tissue, caused by the action of an external or internal force on the bone. Ankle sprains are one of the most common injuries among athletes. Physically active people who participate in activities that require jumping, changing direction, and turning have an increased risk of ankle sprains. Ankle sprains and the repetitive trauma often associated with this condition can lead to long-term disability, lost time from activity, and financial...

MCDM MODEL FOR CRITICAL SELECTION OF BUILDING AND INSULATION MATERIALS FOR OPTIMISING ENERGY USAGE AND ENVIRONMENTAL EFFECT IN PRODUCTION FOCUS
In the context of sustainable buildings, an ecological study of building and insulating materials is critical since it may assist affirm or shift the path of new technology development. Utilising sustainable material is a part of the sustainable improvement. For this reason, material fabrication is the primary process for the energy usage and release of intense environmental gaseous. The fabrication of the insulation and building materials, as in every fabrication process, comprises an energy consumption...

The role of fire disturbances, human activities and climate change for long-term forest dynamics in upper-montane forests of the central Dinaric Alps
We present the first high-resolution Holocene pollen, plant-macrofossil, and charcoal records from the upper-montane zone in the central Dinaric Alps. Drawing on these new records from well-dated lacustrine sediments of Zminje Jezero (ca. 1500 m a.s.l.; Montenegro) and on independent chironomid-inferred summer temperatures, we explore long-term ecosystem responses to variations in climate, fire disturbances and land use, as well as legacy effects of past environmental changes. A mixed spruce-fir...

Mining meaning from online hotel reviews: identification of determinants of (dis-) satisfaction using Latent Dirichlet allocation
User-generated content (UGC) is increasing, so it is critical to clearly understand what customers think about the positive and negative aspects of specific goods. Such information is crucial for customers as well as for businesses. Online reviews are a powerful tool for a deep comprehension of customer satisfaction and dissatisfaction. This research intended to recognize the sources of satisfaction and dissatisfaction among business travelers in city hotels in Serbia. A total...

Climatic and anthropogenic impacts on forest fires in conditions of extreme fire danger on sandy soils
Forests on sandy soils are particularly vulnerable to fire. The study area in this research was Deliblatska pescara (the Deliblato Sands), one of the most endangered areas in Serbia. The linear trends, the polynomial trends and the Pearson correlation coefficient (r) were applied. Statistically significant decrease in the number of forest fires was found, while the increasing trends of the burned area and burned forest area were not significant. There was also an increase in the...

Model of Dependence Between the Parameters of Surface Roughness and the Parameters of Form and Location During the Machining by Drills with the use of Artificial Neural Networks
Abstract This paper presents a model of dependence between the parameters of surface roughness and the parameters of cylindricity and eccentricity in drilling operation for the enhancing steel EN 42CrMo4, hardness 28 HRC, with twist drills DIN 338 made of high-speed steel EN HS6-5-2, with normal blade. By the developing models based on artificial neural networks and using experimental results, it is possible to analyse the quality of machining on the basis of parameters of a surface roughness.

Assessment of stimulus distance during driving
We make about 1,400 decisions in one hour of the day, which makes about 35,000 decisions in 24 hours. The driver's task in traffic is to assess traffic situations and act in accordance with their decisions in traffic. One of the most common causes of traffic accidents is "misjudgment of road users". The perception of space is one of the prerequisites for safe and successful driving. In order to investigate the mentioned issue, the authors of this paper conducted an experimental study with the aim...
